178 bushels of oats would be fun combining but give the grain cart a workout. Did you bake the straw for your double crop or chop. That would be a lot of straw to plant though


I cut some organic oats last year that averaged 168. The half of the field that was flat on the ground and had green alfalfa mixed in was the least fun 3 days of the year... The field that was standing straight and yielded 110 was a lot more fun to combine. The miserable field was more fun to sell though. Gonna plant a shorter variety next time I have that much fertility.
