Stopped at Taco Bell yesterday, drive-through was full so I parked to go in. As I got out a large mechanic's truck parked beside me. Boom on back, welder, etc.  I recognized name on side of door, heavy equipment company. A young,  ( maybe 30 ), short lady jumped out, greasy overalls, name on shirt was Jackie. I mentioned to her unusual to see a lady heavy mechanic , she laughed and said she had been in field working on an excavator, and that her dad had taught her to mechanic, then on to school to specialize. We went in , had one of those self serve kiosks that you looked at screen, choose your order. She made her selection, went to counter, My turn. I could not figure it out, there were many pictures, dozens of choices, kept telling me improper order. I finally gave up and walked out, thinking how this young lady was a skilled heavy equipment mechanic at her age, and I was a dumb truck driver / farmer who could not even order lunch. I hate new technology.
