For the first time this year I can profitably sell a lamb to a customer through my local locker that nets a lower per lb price in the box than beef. For some reasons most Americans don't even consider it as a meat option though.


A perfect example of Beef pulling the other industries up. 

If they force beef prices down, your lambs will be right back to where you were before.



I think Blusteryknoll farm is talking hair sheep,
which historically have always brought a higher per lb price then cattle.
Wool sheep may be a different story.
