Subject: My answer to high fuel prices

Agent Orange: Friendly fire that keeps on burning.

My first wife and I went to breakfast this morning. 14.2 miles, round trip in light city traffic. The car used 3.8 Kwh of electricity. My utility rate is a flat 11.68 cents / Kwh. There is a meter charge but I need to pay that whether I use electricity to charge my car or not, so I don't figure that into my mileage costs. At the stated rate, the total energy cost was 42 Cents or 2.96 Cents / mile.
Price for regular gas is $4.25 / gallon at Costco this morning. It is as high as $4.50 at other stations, according to gas buddy.
