ND | Foreign fed grain fed beef doesn’t exist in any quantity. You’re gonna import grass fed and mostly beef trim aka ground from an inferior product. But yes that will help the lower end ground beef.
As for expansion. The herd man has aged and the next generation isn’t willing to put the hours in for what they saw growing up. Much easier to grow crop and be at the lake in summer. Way of life has adjusted somewhat and it’s hard to go back. | |
