I watched this video https://youtu.be/G-px47hJhc0  which I thought touted a new engine and which I thought implied that this was going into vehicles.  Yet towards the end they talk a lot about the Chevrolet Volt which had a conventional engine.  They also hyped the gas mileage which wasn't the gas mileage but an aggregate of an electric motor and a gasoline engine.

I think I wasted my time watching this or am I just stupid/ignorant and don't comprehend what they are saying?  (ignorance has a cure, education)  Of course there's the possibility that it was a waste of time.
