southern MN | The easy and useful features we want are baked into the systems that spy on us. You can opt out of some of it, but that eliminates most of what you have the device for then.
I do not have a cell phone. Yea I’m funny that way.
I and wife do have iPads with cell data. So we aren’t totally Stone Age.
Anyhow, got a new vehicle this spring. Dealer was aghast that he couldn’t pair a phone to the vehicle….
Month later my iPad was low on battery so I plugged it into the handy charge port on the vehicle.
An hour later a message pops up on the vehicle screen, ‘Paul’s IPad finished indexing.’
I really don’t trust anyone any more. Welcome to the future.
