Very southern Mn | I think bin dia matters. And how well sweep goes around on its own and how much help. I actually put a peg to raise sweep in center first time around on a carry in sweep as it puts more pressure on walking end and pretty much goes around by itself.Than take peg out and lower sweep and send it around again. If sweep doesn’t go around on its own , you are in bin anyway than it is different. Some bins though take a day or so to run sweep around 10000-15000 if waiting for trucks. If sweep runs itself frees up a lot of time or labor. For me if it is easier to push than to shovel. So easier to clean 8-10’ around bin and than sweep in again. A big bin 3 or 4 times around. | |
