Central Illinois | My son and I just cleaned the bin out this morning. Usually we cleaned behind the auger as it went. Today we scooped the outside 2' and then let the sweep go around again after most of the corn was out. Shut the sweep off scooped the next 4' towards the center and started the sweep and ran around again. Shut the sweep off and scooped towards the center again. Started the sweep for another round. Stopped and took sweep out of gear. Turned the auger back on and swept to sumps. I think this is easier than the way I have done it for over 40 years. | |
