Pittsburg, Kansas

I think Bikman says something about older adults with cognitive decline may benefit more than healthy young adults.

I'm not sure I see any improvements from any of the supplements I am taking. Well my wife says I get my essential tremors worse if I don't take my high dose benfotiamine and TTFD vitamin B. So there is that. But she is not a doctor so I suppose I shouldn't listen to what she says. :-)

40 years ago I would be taking none of it. Would have a hard time justifying affording it. Today I look at it more from a perspective if it does me no harm and there is some research it may help, then the cost is incidental. So I continue to take it. I'm pretty certain at least 90% does no good. Then if one or two of them are doing me some good and I don't know which one or how much, maybe it is worthwhile.

I'm definitely not saying that is the correct attitude or that anyone else should approach it that way. It's just my attitude and approach. I'm used to doing most things wrong so why change at this late stage in the game???   :-)
