East of Broken Bow
Yes and no.

His actual story is fairly short, reminds me of Paul Harvey's 'The Rest of the Story', lasting maybe 5-7 minutes or so. After that, the show pivots to Mike and a historian where they go much more in depth about the story.

For example, in the show I mentioned about the code reader reporting the death of Stalin, the actual story and reveal take the 5-7 minutes or so, but then they go into detail about the history of Stalin, how he came to power, as well as how he died (had a stroke, but gave his men orders not to disturb him, so they didn't even though he didn't come out of his bedroom all day), plus a bunch more info on the code reader, and some trivia about his rise to fame. This part lasted probably 15-20 minutes. I'm a history buff, so I found it very interesting. I hadn't realized how Stalin rose to power. Originally, he was given a job with no power, except to nominate people for positions in the Russian government. However, he was calculating enough that he only nominated people loyal to himself, so that over the course of several years, when he was rising to power, there wasn't a lot of resistance because government offices were filled with people who either owed him a favor, or supported him outright.

ETA watched another show, and it was about one of the first direct to customer sales people, who used their customers as sales reps for their product. Think something along the lines of Mary Kay, only this one was a child of slaves, who became the first black woman inventer/business person to become a self-made millionaire.
