I’ve been trying to tell people that CIL is banged up since June. I would then be told I’m an I state whiner and it will be a record crop. You can’t have this many weather extremes in a growing season and expect a record crop. Kernel weight is going to be a wild card. We have been cloudy and raining the last two weeks, will this help or hurt? Who knows, but I’m assuming no sunshine is not good for starch accumulation. If kernel weight doesn’t carry us I think it’s going to be even worse than pro farm numbers unfortunately
