coast of Maine | Wild blueberry fields are typically quite rough.The feds had a program(I do not do gov deals but am farming some that had this done)that removed rocks and did leveling and got paid well.The most unusual smoothing to so flat you would not believe.They use at least a 200 series excavator and wait til ground is wet (spring) and walk that machine all over the field.The blueberry plants are sod like grass.It squishes all the humps down so it is lawn like. | |
