Do they still bait the carriers with those phony letters to see if you'll steal them?   I remember one time I had two letters with an obviously genuine $1 bill showing and both were in my letter tray and had a nonexistent  name and address but correct city name.   I handed both back to the postmaster and told her if they're going to temp me they have to do much better than that.
