You need to go to assessor's office of your county's and make sure you have on file your emails and all ownership of parcels tax deed notice numbers. Most county's ask you to update their records so in the event someone tries to illegally change your deeds you are sent an email a transaction is trying to happen. Has been numerous cases of realtor's and crooks changing names on deeds and refiling them. Then turn around and sell property out from out of under you.

If your county doesn't do this, you need to lobby them to make the change to help protect you.

This is similar to HERE. Don't do nothing for certain.
