| Have you ever seen the future and it looks bleak?
Last night, 30 acres of poor ground that I rent 1/4 mile from home with trees all around the field and very wet sold for a record of 16k/ acre it 2 tracts.
Where I live, we have wind and solar money from the South and East moving this way. Livestock money locally and from the East moving in and now the Amish have showed up. All the above have money the rest of us do not and will not have and are driving the land prices. .
Of all the above, I think the Amish are the worst as land prices where they are from are topping out at 40k plus so they are looking to move where the land is cheaper for now. The odds of the rest of us buying land in the future is looking bleak.
When the hammer fell, the room felt like a funeral home.
