CNY | Here, I plant alfalfa seedings after winter wheat. Just finished. Dairy manure gets spread, then chisel plow, then I hit 2 or 3 times with a disc pulling a Brillion type packer behind at different angles. Then drill, then pull the packer over it again. The big smooth rollers are popular here also after drilling alfalfa. A better tool would be a Brillion cultimulcher, I would disc once then pull that over it several times. But I can’t really justify buying a nice one for the number of acres I seed each year.
