Subject: RE: Selling something to a out of state buyer

New London, Wisconsin
I've bought and sold many times regarding out of state deals. Even out of country three times. Never been sorry I did so. I ask a lot of questions and they do of me as well. 6 to 10 or so have been Ag Talk members, most were not. We discuss best ways to pay and it can vary. I always involve my bank, usually with a wire transfer if its big money. Cash for smaller stuff. Checks occasionally if it's a repeat customer I have gotten to know. I have often sent a check ahead if it's something I know I am going to buy. Some may remember I sold farm equipment for a living when I was young. Dealership sales. Not my first rodeo. I even bought and sold some stuff sight unseen a few times.

Now that I am selling the last of my equipment after retirement, I am surprised how many repeat customers I have.

Jim
