Yesterday morning I asked a question about how installing drain tile will affect rate of water runoff, amount of water runoff and flood crests downstream. I am a little surprised at some of the responses. I didn't mean to make anyone upset, and I don't know the answer to the question.
I do know that your soil down there reacts to moisture differently than up here.
I have seen them cut ruts through the cane fields when we are down at Christmas.
You would not grow anything on ground up here for years if it was packed down and rutted up when that wet. |
