Subject: RE: Selling something to a out of state buyer

I buy pretty much all my big stuff out of state.........................That is what I do, send a check, when the check clears the sellers bank they let me know and then I get transport lined up. Works great for me. Never had any issues yet doing it that way, with that said, I have seen stuff I could have used but the seller wanted something different, which is fine, but that is a no go for me, if you can't trust me, I don't need to do business with you. In general you can tell good people by talking on the phone and the info they give you, the sketchy ones try to hide stuff or the stories don't make sense from my experience. I recently tried to buy a 5088 IH tractor, was just what we were after, but after talking to the guy I sensed something was weird..................Asked if he could remove and load the duals, I got a maybe as an answer, ok, what does that mean, never did get an answer. Sent a ton of pictures on a latest and greatest phone, liked what I seen, could I get a video of it running/driving.............No, phone doesn't do that? Huh????? Ended up forgeting it completely when I got trucking quotes..............But that is the stuff you come across out there.
