cropsey, il 61731 | 1993 was my first harvest. My father in law died suddenly earlier that summer and put me in the position to either farm or not farm (I chose farming btw). That summer I happen to fly over the farm for a business trip and everywhere was covered with water. Yields were in the 100 bu range. I'm glod I started farming, but missed my father in law a lot and the only advantage the earlier floods brought was a quick harvest. | |
