| I'm in a broiler area but not a poultry grower myself although I buy litter for crop nutrition and most of the grain grown in the area is used to feed chickens. Locally, new chicken house construction has slowed down to almost nothing due to rising building material costs and higher interest rates. The integrators have even offered grants to help with new house construction.
