Pittsburg, Kansas

I've never got into our family history very much. My mom was kind of into it and somewhere around here is a book written by one of her cousins that has some of the Ross lineage. I should read it.

But best I can remember my ancestors came down from the northern area of the country to where we are now. The farm I live on was purchased in 1870 from the railroad right of way (as opposed to being homesteaded). There was something about floating down a river on a raft or barge or something from up north.

If someone needs to be afraid, it surely must be you instead of me. :-)
