Highland Center, in Southeast Iowa

John Burns - 8/16/2026 07:01 The body produces the majority of our cholesterol internally. Only a small portion is influenced by food intake. Lots of things have a hereditary influence. When I get a little too onery for my wife's preference she tells me my Ross is showing. My mom was a Ross and that side was definitely a more onery disposition than the Burns side. My mom tried to hide it and not give a bad example to us kids, but it would slip out once in a while. But my cousins and her two brothers were forces to be reconned with. Gotta be the genes.

Golly, John, where are your Rosses from? We may be kin!   (Are ya scared yet?)
