I'm baffled.  I'm not sure what your usage is but there is not a chance in the world I'd give up fiber service for a 5g service, especially at $60/month for 250/250.  We have a 500/500 service that costs $99/month.  We have used 602 Gb in the month of August.

I have the same fiber at my house (1 mile away).  When remodeling at my house yard I ended up getting my point to point system taken down.  I wanted something at the shop so ended up hooking up the fiber that had been dropped in but never hooked up.  I think my last bill showed I used over 700 Gb at the two sites.

So future when I get my antennas up and fiber from house to my new mini tower, all will be fast again.  I thought it was an interesting test for the $13 per month.  I tried to put my verizion sim card from my ipad into the Unifi 5G device but as stated website - it does not support Verizion - it did not work correctly - yet.

If a person wanted to access their Protect system remotely for limited usage, the $13 maybe an option if the person does not have other internet options.  Of course they would have to get into the Unifi system.

I was playing with the environmental sensor and relay to see if I could control bin fans based on temperature and humidity.  A remote bin site could be set up a few components.  Have you worked with those devices?  I got the keyfob also but not hooked it up for anything yet.
