I am way too close to this.
There is no way the river gauge reflects reality. My organization has an intimate relationship with the Whitewater river for 53 years and our predecessors for 180 years. This could very well be worst flood in that time. 1913 would be the only one worse. We won't until we total our receipts.

Our yard when no flood waters can be remembered was over 6 feetdeep. 40 inches of water in our shop. 16 of the 19 miles are devastated.

We are an all volunteer organization dedicated to the preservation of this historic transportation corridor.
