Waukon Iowa
Have 100 acres of 10550 in a field split with another variety. Looks good so far, about 7ft tall I’d say. Has stayed quite healthy so far. Has the same amount of nodes as other variety. Planted at 38,000, other variety at 34,500. Ears are about identical in size to the other variety in the field. The short gene is still recessive so there is still the occasional normal statured plant in the field.
