Pilot Grove, Missouri
Just got home from vacation in Charleston SC last night. From Central Missouri we drove I-70 to Dayton OH first to spend a day at the Air Force Museum. Lots of construction on I-70 in Missouri and Indiana. From Dayton we went to Beckley WV via US 35 (4 lane divided) and a short bit of I-64 to hit I-77. Next day we took including I-77 through Charlotte to Columbia SC to hit I-26 the rest of the way to Charleston SC. No big issues at all that way.

Coming home Saturday we took I-26 up to Asheville NC and I-40 west through Knoxville to Nashville to visit my wife's sister and BiL who live there. Yes had the one lane stretches on I-40 where reconstruction is going on from the prior flood damage but it wasn't bad when went through. A couple traffic backups on I-26 north of Columbia and I-40 east of Nashville due to construction but not terrible. From Nashville it was I-24 to Paducah. From there we took the back roads through Wickliffe KY to take the old bridges over the Ohio and Mississippi into Missouri then over to Sikeston MO and up I-55 so we could stop in Perryville MO to visit my MiL for a short bit. Then I-55 rest of the way to St. Louis and I-70 west to home last night.
