I agree with that. I’ve planted single and twin 36”. Only difference I see is canopy closes quicker and it holds off weeds in the fall with the twin rows. He mentioned his yields have plateaued. I figured he is wanting to push population. I planted 40k one time on twins and it worked out fine. I don’t think i could’ve done that with single row 36”. The guys that try and make big yields around here either are twin 36 or single 30s.
