Franklinton, LA
A long time ago I took a 5-hour Ag Engineering course on water management and control structures. Some people still don't realize that when you change the landscape it effects the rate of water runoff, amount of water runoff and downstream flood crest. Problems like this are usually the result of landscape changes made over several years.

Normally a change or two will not make a lot of difference. However, numerous changes over several years will make a big difference. I don't want to insult anyone or make anyone mad. However, how will installing drain tile effect rate of water runoff, amount of water runoff and downstream flood crest?

I am not going to blame this flood on "Global Warming".

I regret that you are having this problem. I hope that you have a speedy recovery.
