John Deere 71 “planters” . That used to be about all we had in this area. Give it a quick search and you’ll see why we changed to vacuum plate planters when cotton seed became expensive. They were more of a drill . But yes we are totally pivot irrigated. A big pusher for me is when going thru the field or walking it, every seed skip results in two plants with far larger ears. Most of the time on 36” the skip would be close to the same spacing if I changed to 24” rows. I just like to hear others opinions of ideas before I try them.
