Subject: Traveling to the Carolinas in a little over a week-flooding concerns??

West Central Iowa
We have a RV trip planned from western Iowa to the Carolinas, with our first stop just south of Indianapolis and the second night in the Asheville, NC area. It looks like we will be driving I74 to Indy, then I65 to Louisville, I64 to Lexington, I75 to Knoxville, I40 to Asheville. Our departure date is in a week from tomorrow, Tuesday August 25

Are we likely to be running into closed roads and detours on this route due to the flooding? I looked at what Mark posted about Connersville, IN and that community is just a little east of Indy.

Is there a better route?

Thanks!
