Adam,I had a symptom that my quack doctor thought was a bone spur in the heel.Xray not.She said it was not a plantar issue.Sent me to a specialist.He said Heel Spur Syndrome .Gave a diagnosis in 2 minutes.It was a Plantar F. issue.Said he saw 30 or so cases a day.Gave me a boot similar to your sock deal and it is nearly gone now.Wear it at night as the wife has the sheets so tight it bent my feet wrongly perhaps causing this issue.
