As stated above it is NOT ice cream.It cannot be called ice cream as there is NO cream.Absolute chemical disaster that is designed to be as cheap as possible to produce.There are very few real ice cream places as people have been fooled.If you find one travel there often.Here in Maine it is Johns Ice cream in Liberty,Maine.No chems/no colorings/no fake sugars/ and actually made like your grandmother did it.Only sold in that one small place.We travel there 20 miles one way,after the real stuff is had you will think and know the crap at DQ is something to avoid.One small note,,if we travel there in the off season we at times meet only one or two vehicles in 20 miles.Rural Maine in winter .
Fast food has had a chemical concoction they call ice cream for over 30 years. My youngest kid is 40 and I want to say oldest was less than 10 at the time. We pulled into Micy D's so my wife could feed the screaming horde in the back seat. A milk shake sounded real good to me. Drink and drive and get them to where ever faster. Took a good slurp, this tastes Ok Back on the highway and this is not right. It was room temperature, but thick like it should be. I handed it to my better smarter 1/2 and said have some. Only took her one little sip. |
