Ne Colorado
Drilled this June 5. Should’ve been swathing it already. Had an 1/2 of rain at drilling time and haven’t had a drop since. It got crispy dead Brown in early July and stayed that way. Thankfully we had a 2 inch rain a week ago and it greened up. I figured it was done. I assume it will try and put a head on now or will it keep growing? In the heavier stuff it’s about shin high. Will this even be worth bailing? Nitrates are a problem even on a good year for us. I couldn’t imagine where it was dormant for 45 days. Iv never seen hay millet do this, it must have killed off early enough to come back. Not sure.
