It will take a couple of weeks to a month to get over it but here’s what I did several years ago and have had no trouble since.
First, wear the arch supports at night until you get over it.
2. Wear shoes with arch supports at all times. Except when sleeping. I now can go barefoot around the house again.
3. Buy good shoes. That’s what got me in trouble was wearing shoes with no arch support.
