Go to a podiatrist and get the custom inserts made to your foot. Ive fought it for 15 years and they were the only things that would work but I was on my feet 12 hours a day and didnt stay ahead of it so now I've got 1 foot/ankle that is shot, cant stand on concrete for more than a couple minutes and working on my feet all day is out of the question. Don't let it get that bad.

Edit: I'll add that taping it helps quite a bit also. There seem to be several ways, I've only used one. You can find videos on how to donit.
