SE Nebraska | We started selling some beef direct to customers several years ago. We sell individual cuts and hope to break even. We do it to interact with customers. Get their thoughts on beef, what they want in beef and so on. We are not a big operation run 200 to 250 pairs, but are located close to the two largest population centers in the State. I think this industry has changes a lot over the past years and will continue to over the next 5 to 7 years and I think we need to understand what people want in their beef as we will always need demand. | |
