Ice, cold packs, when you are sitting still. I took a frozen can of orange juice and rolled my foot on it from the ball of my big toe to my heel. Good shoes, no bare feet at any time. Good inserts as well. There is a brace that pulls your foot up towards your calf to stretch out the insole of your foot. Uses Velcro. Took me 4 months to get over mine. Good luck! It is painful!!!
