I had it in both feet. I let it go way to long. The dr gave me the name of some inserts for my shoes and said wear slippers with support whenever you can’t wear the shoes. She also told me to take a large dose of aleve but that messed with my blood pressure so I quit that. It took a couple months but the supports helped.
