I’m blessed to be have a good relationship with my processor that’s TDA inspected and I’m limited to Texas if I chose to sell bundles.
I have a waiting list for “unspoken/cancelled” halves if I decide to expand and retain a heifer or two. But that would put me behind on the waiting list for spoken for halves. All sales by word of mouth and am not selling to anyone that complains about price.
When I was at $10.50 boxed weight for a half, I got told “man that’s cheap”. Not sure where they’d been purchasing their halves prior.
