CNY | We sell 20-25 a year as wholes/halves/quarters. We have a good base of customers, a good butcher we work with, but it still can be a lot of screwing around.
We have been slowly expanding and will continue. The extension agent keeps putting on workshops about selling “meat bundles” less than a quarter. My butcher is not USDA and the ones that are are significantly more expensive and always booked way out.
I don’t want the general public coming to my house buying individual cuts and I damn sure don’t see how it can be worth your time to fart around all day at a farmers market. However if people want to do that good for them, I will keep doing what I’m doing | |
