Tablerock Ranch eastern Wa | Joel, no doubt heat can be tough, here in our desert we are often single digit humidity. We can calve in 100 plus and calves will show stress, but we have yet to lose one to what we would consider heat stress. Main cow herd in Sept/Oct enjoy super nice conditions with way less heat than the heifers, couple that with no cold weather and Coyotes that aren't packed up yet and they have it good. |
