Top of Texas | Wow, color me jealous. It’s been since June that we had anything close to that. That calf is doing okay, his back end is still kind of wobbly at 6 weeks but he can run around the corral even though he stumbles some. It’s hard to determine if it’s a strength or a nervous system issue. I’d like to get him out to pasture where I think the space and being forced to walk more would do him good but I’d like for the heat to relent so he doesn’t get bedded down and dehydrate or overheat if he’s unable to stay with mama. | |
