THIS! License plates are public info. I can see/take pics of them anytime I want in public. You have to have the other side of the info to do any good. Other wise its just a group of letters and numbers.
Heck, a local tire dealer has his own LP reader in his driveway. He's slowly built up his clients numbers database...that way he knows who comes and goes after hours. I have zero problems with this.
