WC Franklin Co., In. | I drove down US 52 through Metamora yesterday. At one point the water was up to the bottom of the bridge, but the river has gone down tremendously. A lot of erosion could be seen from the riverbank, and you can see how high the river got in all the bottoms around there. On the east side of town, the Whitewater River continues its relentless march to wipe out the canal and US 52. The last time the river flooded bad, it changed its course 1/4 mile.
