Eastern NE KS | I think your question is valid because 20 years ago I had a very independent vet tell me the difference amongst the claims. However, I just don't remember the order of better protection.
I call him independent because he was a K-State vet graduate but he claimed the KSU diagnostics lab can't5 find the cause of a animal's death even if the school's reputation depended on it. He liked sending stuff to a Texas lab.
What I do know the label is our guide and boosters must not be skipped if the label asks for one. I just reviewed this 2 days ago in an article written by Valley Vet's consulting vet. She went into details how a virgin antigen vaccination will be readily 'forgotten' if not followed by the required booster in the prescribed time.
She was particularly insistent about this on killed vaccines, less so on modified live.
