Do you get showers or systems that give you rain?

Here we get most of our rain in summer from showers/thunderstorms so you might get lots of rain at front of farm and nothing at back.
That is why we can get micro areas with drought while others are doing OK.

Our good point is because of lakes we get lots of showers so usually get enough rain all over just not all on the same days.


Yes, theres always systems moving through bringing rain but you have to be in the right place to get it. Happens that here we have not seen significant rain since July 10 in a severe storm that brought tornados and hail to some. Then no more rain. Only 2 mm here yesterday which is barely worth mentioning. Further North and South they measured the rain in inches which was quite an event.. At least its not hot.
