My son just started at $50K as a first year teacher. I didn't think that was too bad for Iowa. He's off at 330 and goes and works a second job for fun and exercise, then works for me some in his summers off. He gets great benefits (IPERS is ridiculous). All for a four year degree.
Cause for concern?
