One says "aids in prevention" other says "offers protection against", so does this mean the same thing or is one giving better protection, what do you read into this? Both are Merck products? If I were to use one of these I would prefer to use the Calvary 9 because booster I do not have to wait 6 weeks to do it and get some tetanus protection , but I do not get Somnus protection with either one. For those of you buying calves I am guessing you rather have somnus then Tetanus protection, correct? So that would eliminate either of these from consideration. I have never had a tetanus problem that I know of, neighbor says I should be vaccinating for it as he lost a couple of calves to it last year. Have never vaccinated for red water, but I am thinking I should due to some posts earlier this summer and as you head north from here it is a problem.
